General Information

The City

Deliciously Yorkshire…. This charming city on the edge of the Yorkshire dales boasts characteristic architecture, grand boulevards, café lined streets, elegant boutiques and flower filled green spaces.

Nowhere serves a cup of tea like Betty’s café Tea Rooms of Harrogate. Established in 1919 it is still serving the finest cuppa with delicious Yorkshire and continental confections. Betty’s is nestled amongst Harrogate’s famous 19th century Turkish Baths, unique shops and over 100 cosmopolitan restaurants and bars. All just a few minutes walk way from your conference centre and accommodation.

Harrogate is ideally situated in the middle of the UK, equidistant from both London and Edinburgh. It has good train links, is easily accessible by car via the M1 and is only 20 minutes away from Leeds Bradford airport.

Arriving by Air
Leeds Bradford International Airport (LBIA) is the closest airport to Harrogate.
There are plenty of regular daily flights from many connections in Europe and worldwide.

The Harrogate the Dales and District 767 bus operates between the airport and Harrogate bus station, a short walk from the Harrogate International Centre.

Rail

An excellent train service exists between London/Edinburgh to Leeds/York. Trains run about every half hour (through the week) with average journey times from London of around 2 – 2.5 hours.

When at Leeds/York there is a simple change to a Harrogate bound train. These also run about every half hour (through the week) with an average journey time of 30 – 40mins.

Car

Driving to Harrogate International Centre, there are 210 car parking spaces at the Harrogate International Centre alone, a further 1,200 at the nearby Jubilee and Victoria car parks.

  • Up to 6 hrs - £7.50
  • Up to 12 hours - £11.50
  • Up to 24 hrs - £13
