Manchester has excellent transport links and a well integrated local transport system.
By Air: Manchester has the largest airport in northern England, with direct flights from 20 locations in the UK and Ireland, plus many other services from Europe and north America. Details can be found on their web site www.manchesterairport.co.uk or from their telephone enquiry number (0161-489-3000). 24 hour train and coach services link the airport and city centre.
By Rail: Inter-city services terminate at either Manchester Victoria or Manchester Piccadilly Stations. Timetabling may be found on the National Rail web site www.nationalrail.co.uk or call general rail passenger enquiries on 08457-484950. Both stations have Metrolink tram stops which allow easy onward passage to the MICC during the working day.
By Coach: National Express inter-city coach services terminate at the Chorlton Street Bus Sation (see www.gobycoach.com or call 08705-808080 for details).
By Car: Manchester is well connected to the motorway network. Public car parks near the MICC are located beneath G-MEX, and within the recently renovated Great Northern Railway Companys Goods Warehouse site. Hotel residents can use nearby NCP facilities at a discounted rate; day delegates will be sent a form on registration to obtain a reduced rate parking voucher from NCP.
