Meet with old friends and make new ones at this informal event, held at the focal point of the meeting, amongst the business suites in the Great Northern Hall of the MICC from 18.45.
Finish off the evening at the Focus Fringe with live musical entertainment from ACB members at The Late Room, Peter Street, with late night bars until 2am.

The Lowry Art Gallery
A private viewing the works of L S Lowry, Manchesters most celebrated artist at the Lowry Centre, Manchesters National Landmark Millennium Project for the Arts, followed by a meal in The Lowry Restaurant.
Blow off the cobwebs and enjoy the Lancashire countryside with a walk up to Saddleworths 'Pots and Pans' with its magnificent views. The less energetic can take a stroll around the picturesque Dovestone reservoir. Afterwards refuel with food and drink in a local hostelry.
Come to China Town and sample a top quality Chinese banquet at Manchesters famous Yang Sing restaurant.
Seasoned cyclists and novices alike can put their cycling skills to the test at Manchesters Velodrome, Britains only indoor Olympic cycle track.
Brewery Tour and Curry
Take a tour of Hydes historic brewery, Sample some of their ales, then finish the evening off at Sangam's restaurant in Manchester's famous curry district.
Canal Boat Trip
Sit back, relax and see Manchester from its waterways with a canal boat trip, enjoying a meal on board. From Castlefield, Britains first Urban Heritage Park, following the Bridgewater canal to the new lock at Pomona, then to Salford Quays home to the famous Lowry theatre and the impressive Imperial War Museum North.

50th Anniversary Banquet
The 50th anniversary of the Association of Clinical Biochemists will be celebrated with a banquet in the beautiful surroundings of Mere Golf and Country Club. Founder and retired members are invited to attend for this special occasion. Followed by dancing to music from the past 50 years.
