Corporate Members’ Evening
Meet old friends and make new ones while enjoying the hospitality of the Conference Exhibitors at the Britannia International Hotel at 20.00. This informal opening event with a 'swinging sixties carnaby Street theme will be a great way to start Focus 2001, disco and finger buffet. Transport will be provided from conference hotels.

T U E S D A Y

Greyhound Racing
Enjoy an evening at the races! Relax with friends in the restaurant overlooking the track and have a gamble on a four-legged friend. Coach pick-up from outside hotels at 18.00, return approx. 23.00.

Jack the Ripper Haunts
Follow in the footsteps of London’s most infamous murderer. Inspect the murder sites, sift through the evidence – in all its gory detail – and get to grips with the main suspects. Afterwards, steady your nerves with a drink and a meal. Pick-up from outside hotels at 18.00.

Disney’s The Lion King
Enjoy an evening at the Lyceum Theatre in the West End. Tickets are limited. Evening meal is not included, but there are many eating places near the theatre. The show starts at 19.30; allow at least an hour from ExCeL by DLR and Underground.

Focus Fringe, 100 Club, Oxford Circus
Extended music evening from 19.30 - musicians of all calibres are welcome to play, sing and support - further details will be available at the meeting.

Dinner in Hotel
For those not taking part in any of the social events.

W E D N E S D A Y

Fly the London Eye
Your journey takes you skyward on British Airways London Eye, the tallest observation wheel in the world. The 30 minute rotation in fully enclosed glass capsules, offers you unrivalled panoramic views and new perspectives of London’s famous landmarks.

Along the Thames, Pub Walk
Visit London’s last remaining galleried coaching inn, its best riverside walkway, its oldest market and the finest art nouveau pub in England. Plus lashings of Shakespeare, Dickens and more pubs. Pick-up time from hotels is 18.00.

The Witches of Eastwick
Enjoy an evening at the Prince of Wales Theatre in the West End. Tickets are limited. Evening meal not included, but there are many eating places near the theatre. The show starts at 19.30; allow at least an hour from ExCeL by DLR and Underground.

Sporting Events
Wednesday evening is traditionally reserved for Focus sporting events. This year we are offering Golf (sponsored by Olympus, coach leaves from West entrance of ExCeL at 12.30), Squash, Five-a-Side Football, Swimming (sponsored by Beckman, coach leaves ExCeL at 17.30) and Ten Pin Bowling (meet at hotels at 18.45).

Conference Banquet
The traditional Focus final night activity. This will be a formal affair held in The Brewery, Chiswell Street, in the heart of the City of London. Black Tie recommended. Transport will be provided from hotels.
